My Plan

Finally I have finished my spread, sadly I didn't do very well on it.My class is assigned to do a template that includes our own photos and an explain why they are good photos. So Iplan to do well on that.Today we had a photog definitions quiz,I think that I did okay on that.I tend to slack sometimes in class, but I plan to try and get more work done,to get my mark up in this class.

Earth Day
For earth day,our comm tech class took photos. The photos we took didn't require to have a flash, because the light shining down from the window, worked. The light from the window makes pictures look light, nice and natural.Having the lights off for eath day, resembles that our school is trying to conserve energy. It also shows that we apreciate our earth by trying to create the feel that we are conserving energy.

Top ten Tips
Step 1: Get Down on their level.
When taking a picture of someone, hold the camera at the person's eye level to unleash the power of those magnetic gazes
Step 2: Use a Plain Backround.
Step 3:Use flash outdoors.
When taking people pictures on sunny days, turn your flash on to avoid shadows on the face
Step4:Move In Close.
Up close you can reveal telling details, like a sprinkle of freckles or an arched eyebrow.
Step5:Move it from the Middle.
Step6:Lock the Focus.
If your subject is not in the center of the picture, you need to lock the focus to create a sharp
Step7:Know your flash's range.
For many cameras, the maximum flash range is less than fifteen feet—about five steps away.
Step8:Watch the light.
Next to the subject, the most important part of every picture is the light. It affects the appearance of everything you photograph. On a great-grandmother, bright sunlight from the side can enhance wrinkles.
Step9:Take some vertical pictures.
sorts of things look better in a vertical picture. From a lighthouse near a cliff to the Eiffel Tower to your four-year-old niece jumping in a puddle.
Step10:Be a picture director.
Take control of your picture-taking and watch your pictures dramatically improve.

Another Day In my Yearbook Class
Today,we received our first yearbook test back.Surprisingly i did pretty good on it(better then i thought i would).I'm beginning to enjoy this class more, because I am becoming more aware of what techniques to use and what steps I have to take to make a decent looking spread.I am anxious to learn more techniques that could possibly take part in my future.
